I pulled these today. The Parsnip was 15" long, the Carrot 7"

Wow! Iwas talking to hubby earlier about getting an allotment in the village for veggies, think it would be great Spring and Summer.....:o)

You must have a nice, sandy soil to get root crops like that. Gets the taste buds going to see them!

JB I'm on chalk, but I grew these in one of my raised beds, they have about 18" of top soil in them.
