Well done Amy I love broad beans one plant the school here give the children to grow in scholl then bring home. hope you have a lovely crop.

Thanks Morgana .. it's nice that the school encourages the children to grow seeds and if they can eat it they have something to look forward to , it will help them to like veg .........

Yes I agree Amy shame all the schools did nt have patches of ground in each, so as to learn the children to grow.

Are they early Amy? Or do they germinate and then go dormant until the spring?

They are early ones PG .. they keep growing all winter the weather doesn't seem to affect them , they are usually ready to eat in May , nice and early !
