Don't you believe it Dawn ...LOL... I have a huge Arcon in the garden , it's brilliant for storage , people lived in them after the war , we use the entrance room as a potting shed , another room has hubby's trainset in it another has been cleared out for a table tennis table .. .. but it is very ugly so we need all the ivy and anything I can get to grow up outside it to hide it ... ... LOL...

Whoo Amy, your Arcon sounds lovely. You can never have enough storage space. I've never heard the word before. Does it have a domed top?

It has a domed top Dawn , you can even see where it use to have a chimney pot out of the top .., windows all round with rusty frames , LOL.. it has electric , it's not lovely , it is ugly ... but I don't know where we would put things if we didn't have it ..... it's the sort of thing you might see in Dad Army ... LOL...

I think I know what you mean Amy, like a mini Nissan hut?
Like you say, you can disguise it and for storage its wonderful plus its an existing building plot for the future.

We had thought of that Dawn , there's a ditch that runs down the other side of it and an unmade up road the other side of the ditch with a couple of bungalows , if we could get permission to come in off that lane we could build where the Arcon is or sell it as a building plot .... maybe in the future it would be worth looking into ......... !

Think of it as your nest egg for the future Amy, as long as the building is there, its classed as an existing plot I would think. The ditch could be piped too, I would imagine, if need be. Its so useful at the moment too and will look lovely all year covered in the beautiful Goldheart ivy.

We don't think it was ever lived in Dawn , our old neighbour thinks it was used by someone to do upholstery in years ago ... and nobody seems to know who owns the unmade up track , even Jim who lives on it dosn't know .... it would take some finding out ..

Its all very intriguing Amy, love it.
