I know what you mean , it creeps in under our fence I daren't let it get to established , even if it is pretty ...........

Mine roots itself when I'm not looking, Amy! I added this to my 'More Thugs' blog - because Bamboo reminded me that Vincas can be invasive, like this one really is!

i'd love some if you get chance to root some out for me spritz. I'd willing pay postage . I love it especially as it is a named variety.

I will see if I can dig some up for you. No postage required! :-))

What a shame! This is one of a group of three, and they have their own Nursery somewhere down in Devon. Grindle visits one of the others that's nearer her home. We compared notes - and it sounds pretty similar! Their perennials are good prices, and they really have an excellent range there - plants I can't find elsewhere, too.

I saw around 7 or 8 DIFFERENT Skimmias - I didn't know there were so many!

Oh, and I just realised - I didn't notice any glitter or tinsel - and definitely no Santa! How good was that? :-)))))

how does this differ from V minor/major? just curious you know!

10 Nov, 2009

MUCH more vigorous, bigger shinier leaves, and bi-coloured flowers. It's almost a climber!

bigger than major or minor? do they do in shade?

10 Nov, 2009

MUCH bigger, and this one is kind of shaded...it faces east, and is behind a large Aucuba, as well.
