Just thought I'd give it a go while I was watching out of bedroom window! I wasn't tipsy...honest....the wobbly lights are due to not a long enough exposure (so I'm told)! :o/

10 Nov, 2009

Ok thanks honey...had a good day off yesterday & hectic day at work today!!

It's soooo dark when I leave & come home...forgotten I've even got a garden!!

Winter to me is curtains ! Hate 'em ! In the Summer they're always open... today it was about 4.30 and will get sooner !! Yuck !! :~((

10 Nov, 2009

Yep...curtains, torches, stumbling out to a frozen car & tripping over the cat that you've just let out, cold bathroom, washing draped everywhere upstairs, cats in that usually stay out & chopping wood!!

You know Fluff, the BEST thing I ever got myself was a Tumble Dryer, I still remember the pre puffy central heating days when it was a Chinese laundry in the back bedroom !! With a portable gas cylinder heater at the top of the stairs !! LOL And it was only about 8 years ago ! :~(((

I know...they are great...but I do my daughter's washing as well (because she doesn't have a machine & her flat is damp enough without wet washing everywhere) & there would just be too much...can't afford the electric!! She's 21 so you can imagine how many clothes she gets thru' in a week!! I sometimes take some down to Mum's & dry it round her Rayburn tho'!!

Soz bab !! I forget that I live alone and ony do about two or three loads a week ! (Ok ... ok ... put the violins away !!) ;~))) xx

10 Nov, 2009

Rayburns ..... Yeah !! xx

10 Nov, 2009

Well you'd think I lived with a football team the amount of washing I do!! Oh...& I forgot my mum's too...tho' I use her machine for that!!

Rayburns are the best!

11 Nov, 2009

I'm sure if your 'team' had to do their own they'd wear things for a bit longer !! lol ;~)

11 Nov, 2009

Yes you're probably right Sue!! Did you get my pm?

11 Nov, 2009

Yes bab. One coming back very soon xx

not so many fireworks seen this year. They were expensive in the shops.

17 Nov, 2009

Yes they were...I haven't bought one for years but I'm still enthralled by the colourful packaging!!

17 Nov, 2009

I think that fireworks should be kept for displays to go to nowadays.

18 Nov, 2009

Oh so do i Linda, i feel very, very strongly about it too !

A long time ago as a child my father kept fireworks in a metal tin and we had to stand right by the house, while he let the fireworks off the other end of the garden, but even then they wern't as powerful as they are today.
