It attracts long tongues bees for nectar, including bumblebees, and little carpenter bees. If no other seed is available the Bobwhite and Ring Necked Pheasant eat them.

Weeds are only plants we do not yet know the use of....so these are not weeds to me! lol

My version is that a weed is just a plant in the wrong place! If you want them there, they're not weeds!
