thank you all for your help here is a close-up of the flower if it is Lavatera will it die of for the winter and then will it come back for the spring or is that it only one season lloking forward to hearing from you.

depends if its a shrub or anual plant winch, if its a bush type it will come back each year and get bigger, so when its getting a bit bigger just prune it back a bit, they are very quick growing,welcome to GOY
