White Trout Lily

DiOhio

By Diohio

White Trout Lily (Erythronium albidum)

Although in the back woods there is an entire ravine of Trout Lilies, there are very few flowers. About 8 years ago I transplanted a few leaves to my yard and to my wonderful surprise, this one happened to be white. It's the only White Trout Lily I have ever found. Most of them are Yellow. Pic taken 4-12-08.
