love bamboo.

My bamboo bonsai which was bought greatly discounted last winter (2008) in a bit of a state, then proceeded to lose all of its leaves. It was sold as an indoor plant. I put it outside - it was still winter- and watered it relentlessly. I am very pleased with its progress - it looked very dead for months!

Hi Suey, I love it too - I have added two largeish bamboos to the garden this summer and having been enjoying their presence greatly.

i love the rustle they make when its windy.
