I wouldn't risk leaving them out at all up here.

i have been replanting some outside to replace the ones i lost last year.

but i'll be paying much more attention this winter....we are thinking of ways to insulate the grow-shed. its too big to heat so we have been collecting old duvets to put behind the bamboo screens. lets hope its not as bad as last year or it will be fuchsias in the living rooom again...lol

OH ! lol - well I don't have so many now since they got frosted last year. I'm thinking of putting them in the conservatory - well the smaller ones anyway.
Now what a good idea to use old duvets - there's some in my mother's house and instead of throwing them out I think I'll use them to insulate my shed.
I do hope we have a mild winter though. I hate being cold lol

its the winter wet that gets me. i have an old pair of ski trousers that i wear in the garden when its cold but the winter but the wet stops me from working.

im going to stick the duvets to the walls with no nail...but im also going to get fleece ready....

I think I'll do that. I'll be able to leave the big fuchsias in the shed then. Good luck - lol. We'll see how it works :o)
