i have this plant pip in the house, i have had it years and forget to water it all the time but it never dies on me ,

Chinese Good Fortune plant, Zamioculcas zamiifolia. I have this one, they don't like too much water for sure. Funny story, about you cutting up the plant to see if it really was indestructable,lol. Did your mum have a fit?!?
