Thanks for the time you spent for me. :-)

NOPE! lol

11 Aug, 2009

It's latin - it stands for 'Quod est demonstrandum'...meaning, 'You've just proved it' or literally, 'That is demonstrated' :-)

See - I USED to be educated! I actually learned latin at school....don't remember much of it, though.

11 Aug, 2009

i didnt do latin, but my mum said she did but she remembers little of it, think you still are educated BB, i didnt like school but i have always had alot of common sence and baz thinks im intelligent, lol just hopeless at spelling, anyway thanx for that BB, :o)) off out now to see my brother, have a great day

oo la la xx

11 Aug, 2009

It is! :-))

11 Aug, 2009

I thought it meant "quod erat demonstradum" or in my days "Quite easily done". Anyway the Penstemon is lovely whether it is known or not.

11 Aug, 2009

OK, OK - 'est' instead of 'erat'? I was in the 'past' tense - it shows my age! LOL. Meaning? What I said, which is much the same as yours, if you think about it!

11 Aug, 2009

Think! What are you thinking of? This is me.

11 Aug, 2009

Now I know you can...and do...;-)

11 Aug, 2009

I have this one, it is at least 10 years old, thought it was sour grapes, google says no.........Cotswold garden flowers might be of use.

11 Aug, 2009

Just like the song...."you must have been a beautiful baby, 'cause baby look at you now".

17 Aug, 2009

I've got their catalogue - I'll take a look! Thanks, Dd.
