Today another flower has opened & there are two more to come. There is also a 2nd bulb in the pot that is producing a flower stem. I think it will probably be the white one as the pure red bulb disintegrated last year after flowering & formed 5 or 6 smaller bulbs in its place.

Bamboo

What a great idea - I don't like amarylis stuck on their own in a room, but it looks fantastic amongst all the other flowers.

Balcony

It certainly looks more "natural" than being on its own in a flowerpot.

The 2nd bud that is coming up behind this one isn't white as I'd expected but red. The membrane holding the buds has split & I can see the red buds inside. Once I get a flower open I'll add a new picture.

I'm glad you like my Amaryllis. :)
