This cheeky fellow has really taken over this perch ,he's just had a scrap over it with a Squirrel and came out on top!

Pretty birds but very unpopular with the others due to their nest raiding habits so I ll be rooting for squirrel.

Thanks Janey and Gee Its been back and forth all afternoon and there is now two of them, the nut feeder is empty now so they will have to wait while tomorrow, might be able to get a better picture!

Yes I sit and watch birds and you do get the bullies, the nicest pair I ve seen are gold finches where he bought the female to dinner at my bird stations.

Perhaps in the spring time the weather might of frightened them back to a warmer country, as I have noticed my nuts and seeds are not being eaten very much like they were, they have been out there for over a week hardly any have been eaten, where as before I was having to fill it every 3rd day.

Just starting to see the small birds returning Morgana, mainly Blue Tits , Chaffinch and Great Tits, perhaphs its been a busy breeding time this year.
