we have two baby blackbirds that come to the garden with their parents to be fed and they are of similar colouring with speckles.

What a l lovely study of that baby robin....well done! I know they are tame and ingenuous but this a great pic. I had the company of two baby blackbirds when I was having lunch out in the gravel garden yesterday.... initially they were sunbathing and then hopped nearer and nearer...and the dogs were lying - as usual beside me!! Di kept looking but fortunately she is obedient and didn't give chase..Honey of course couldn't see them anyway! The mother was sitting up on the rooftop preening herself - totally unconcerned....very trusting! Sadly - I didn't have my camera....isn't it always the way !
