The vicarage garden

Well, winters here and having put most of my gardens to bed it’s project time, one of witch is the restoring of the very overgrown vicarage garden. this is back breaking work, but very satisfying to see the original layout and form of the garden reappearing. I have started clearing the raised terrace, most of it a tangle of brambles and ivy { I have posted photos }. I have some ideas of how I will replant this area, but I am waiting till the clearance is complete before making a final decision.

Brambles and ivy are almost the worst to get rid of, aren't they - closely followed by bindweed and nettles!

You are a star if you have cleared that lot, Philip! Well done, sir! I hope the Vicar appreciates you... :-)
