Agree with Clarice :o)

I don't think I've heard one complaint about the new series. The producers must have been listening to us as the main complaint was the pathetic and staged banter between them. Now thank goodness it's about gardens not personalities.

As I've said before, I'm sure some of the Gardeners' World background team are GoY members and read our comments. :o)

20 Mar, 2010

Wonder if they are TT :o))

20 Mar, 2010

Yes... Clarice... they are GoY members...
...they like your garden....
... and they like your innovative garden ideas...
... watch out for wheelie bin water butts on Gardeners' World...LOL.

I agree Heron much better without the stupid banter and 3 minute makes. Like Carol best of all.

20 Mar, 2010

Yay... Carol... excellent :o)))

I still say bring back Alan T, i did enjoy it much more, and needs to be an hour long, that the least the BBC can do for us gardening lience payers. :o))))x

20 Mar, 2010

20 Mar, 2010

20 Mar, 2010

Yes, I saw Open Gardens last week... and the show is on again this coming Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Agree that an hour would be good :o)

20 Mar, 2010

hi tt just been checking if it was on next week but only checked monday and saw it wasnt on so thought it was finished so thanx ,i thought the mum & daughter did well to get through though, and all that work the man with the nursery had to do phew..:o)

20 Mar, 2010

I haven't seen it this week yet but I'll catch it on the BBC iPlayer on Monday.

I agree with you all about the length of time they dedicate to it. An hour is the very least they could do! I also like Carol - a very "down-to-earth" woman! :-)

20 Mar, 2010

Hav'nt seen it since they changed the time why dont they bring it back to its original time of 20.30 (this time maybe on a wednesday) as they are boring, plus it will give a head start for the weekend ahead instead of waiting for another week, and as for the wheelie bin water butts that was the first water butt I had when I first got my allotment, and another one for composting.

i think gardening needs to be more on tv now i think its more popular than ballroom dancing or skating or is that just me ?,i say bring back the gardening channel dont know why they axed it ,i dunno maybe you were ahead of your time allotment..:o))

20 Mar, 2010

TV broadcasts....
Keep the ballroom dancing ...
... keep the ice-skating.... but pleeeeeeease ...
less cookery shows....
.... replace lots of those with gardening programmes...

21 Mar, 2010

I agree with you TT. WE WONT LOTS MORE GARDEN PROGRAMMES,pleeeeeese.....

21 Mar, 2010

Yay. Clarice... !!!
MORE GARDENING PROGRAMMES PLEEEASE :o)))))))

21 Mar, 2010

Yesterday I found an American gardening board which is linked to a TV channel. I was watching a few of the back videos on there. They are short but to the point.

21 Mar, 2010

Tried finding my way back there but no luck! :-(

21 Mar, 2010

I enjoy GW but do find I'm sky+ it and then I can fast forward the boring bits!! Shows when its a good show when I dont touch the fast forward!!!

23 Mar, 2010

I watched Friday's show this afternoon. I find I'm now looking forward to the bits on veg now that I've started work on the allotment!

I would like to see Joe working on his allotment once again but I guess that in the short version there is no time for that. :-(

27 Mar, 2010

Yes Balcony, i agree, i wish there was more of joe's allotment, they don't seem to be filming it yet, lets hope they will soon...:o))

28 Mar, 2010
