a bit about me

Hi all

I’m a mum of 2 (age 7 and 1) and live in Wales.

I had an allotment for a couple of years, but aquired a garden when we moved here last year (hurray). So gave up the plot and turned half the garden over to vedge growing. I just could’nt do both – miss the lottie though.

I thought if i joined this site it might get me moving in the garden as I do tend to let it slide quite often. Managed to grow some edible stuff this year though. I just wished I’d taken photos when we moved in as it was sooooo bad.
Burried greenhouse, household, rubbish, broken glass, piles and piles of rubble. overgrown patio and hedges, grass up to your chin (good for grasshoppers though). You name it, we had it. Finally managed to get it tidyish after alot of hard work, a skip and so on. Actually, I hope it’s never that ‘tidy’ because I prefer a bit of wild even weeds if they are pretty.

Hope someone can help me on the flowers because I don’t know much about them.

Hope to post some photos soon
Lou

Hi - it's nice to meet you! It sounds as if you have worked your socks off, especially with two young children! Good for you! I am not into veggies, but mad about my (flowery) garden! Nobody can know everything, but you'll find that if you post a question, one or more of the great members on the site will come up with an answer...So if you need help about flowers, just ask! Do post some photos, it's always interesting to look at other people's gardens. :-)
