The last plant is new to me. Looked it up. Common name: Friar's Cowl or Larus.Would imagine it spreads easily.

Another lovely set of pictures,the six pan class I can drool over, never thought of autumn Sax as pot plants, they look good.I also note I am not the only one having trouble keeping autumn Crocus and Colchiums standing upright,
I have a little Empodium in flower here now has a gorgeous scent.
You did not tell us that Townsendia had a first card

I was surprised Brian.I only took it as it was so quick to flower.
I've not seen Empodium before and thought it was quite nice.
Some of the Sax's are nice,but they would attract every vine weevil in the county here.

The Empodium i bought in Devon did not flower last year, it is dormant all summer ,I have not dug it up but think it has some sort of rhizome.

A lovely selection of plants to gladden all our hearts.
