Roses Grow on You!

just had to show you these lovely roses in my garden while they are still in flower, the hot weather is soon taking them over and they are getting past their best now.

We keep getting a little shower of rain every so often but it is soon dried up with the heat and unfortunately the roses are suffering because of that. Thank goodness for cameras so that we can record them when they are so pretty and then we can look back and remember them at their best.

Now for the prettiest rose bud in my garden taken last week when it was very very hot and we had to take cover under two umbrellas and lots of sun cream.

and yet again it will not turn around and sit the right way up no matter how many times I edit it and change the way it sits in the file folder. ah well little Lottie is beautiful whichever way she sits. lol.

Hope you are all enjoying some quality time in your gardens and not getting to hot or too wet. xx

Oh I want one, where can I beg, steal or borrow one, lol, Lottie is a treasure Olive and looking so happy amongst her toys, is she reaching out for you or the camera?
Your roses are looking lovely, the whole garden is very colourful and glowing in the sunlight, its a right dreary day here, constant drizzle but we need it so mustn't grumble, my grass is turning green as I am looking at it, of course that means its growing as well though...

What a pretty garden you have - easy to see where Karen gets her talent from...and yes, the last little rose is beautiful!

We've had a regular downpour here but its dried up now.

Thank you everyone, we have had a couple of showers but its very humid again, cloudy and that is trapping in the heat.
Lincs the grass is the same here, growing like crazy, cut
it and the next day it doesn't look like it has been done.
Stera thank you - but I think it is the other way around, I have learned from Karen and from on here of course, lots of brilliant pictures and advice on GoY. :O)
Micky thanks, so pleased you like my garden. Not spending as much time in it this last few days as Lottie is taking up lots of my time. Soon be summer holidays and Sarah will have 6 weeks off school so I shall catch up with it all then. In September it will be less work as she is going back part time. I am enjoying having her but am tired by 6 o'clock in the evening.

Thank you Bloomer, she is adorable. Such a happy little girl. :O) Took her to Sarah's school Summer Fayre and when she saw her mum and all the children she got so excited. lol.

Thank you Paul, just what I was aiming for and when Lucifer gets going it will just glow, well hopefully it will. He is on his way so not much longer to wait lol.

What a lovely colourful garden you have created & little Lottie looks so sweet, a real joy.
It's right mucky here, so I've been juicing my kale & carrots.
Tonight we have heavy rain, thunder & lightening coming up from the south & heading towards Karen for tomorrow with unusually high winds so the forecast said.
Followed by a couple of nice days b4 the rain comes back. As you said, thank goodness for cameras!

Greenfinger - Thank you for your lovely comments. Just seen how much rain there has been up in Scotland, wow so much water and we didn't get a drop here in our corner of Lincolnshire.
