I’m going to try and take you for a walk around my new garden, with photos…hope this works!
this first is the side of my home…new driveway, scooter ramp, raised beds all done last summer

thanks, Scotkat..i found a fantastic contractor who actually listened when i explained my design! sometimes during construction he would get a different idea, but he always checked with me first before going ahead with construction..basically this is my design, with a slight moderation from him...it was a lot of work, but even more fun, and i'm happy to say that it works for me...it's nice to feel safe walking around..lots of places to sit...

we get lots of beautiful blue skies, Lincslass...in the winter, with all the dazzling white snow on the evergreens, the air so clear and fresh...a few white clouds...it lifts my spirits...in the summer, the lake is nicknamed "blue water" as it reflects the blue skies..lovely combination...blue above and below...
