Wonderful weather

Weather colder today so don’t feel the need to rush out to the garden yet but it has been so nice these past few days to be able to get out early in the morning to just potter .
Have been getting so many things done that I am almost ahead of myself but only almost.
It’s been wonderful how quickly all the seeds planted
last Saturday 24th have grown I’m quite amazed really
even those planted outside are popping through, will give us a head start, just have to keep the slugs & snails at bay[1 of my pet hates]
Have been waging war on the other pet hate VINE WEEVIL something of a long term battle I fear , don’t know if that war can ever be won!
Am trying my hand at lunar planting this year so if anybody has any tips I’d be happy to hear from you.
Must go I hear a garden calling.

For lunar planting, our GoY member Moon_Grower is the one to look at. Her blogs will help you with this.

On Deeside here, not so far away from you, we have had the same brilliant weather and after rain this morning it is sunny again, so the work goes on. Great to get so much done so early.

P.S. I like your name!

We've got a nice day here today, after a gloomy one yesterday, and I hope the sun is shining with you too.
I'm pleased to hear about your seeds coming through.
And I hate vine weevils aswell. They've killed 3 of my fuchsias this year already :o(

Glad to meet you Niverdeen . . . welcome to GoY! To "just potter" is one of my favourite activites too, and finding a seed has germinated always brings a smile :))
