Monsoon ??

What some weather ! The water butt is full to bursting and I have put buckets out to catch more rain. The garden is looking lovely though.. before it rained I went shopping for bits in the 99p shop and Poundstretcher. The Begonias were 99p and I don’t know if the seed mats will work but for£2.49 they are worth a try.I bought some cane ‘rolls ’that I put around my breezeblocks that I use to stand pots on, to disguise them.Mind you I have spent a few days since digging splinters out of my hands!
I found a new home for a clown my daughter bought me some years ago ( I had quite a collection at one time !) I didn’t want to get rid of him after I redecorated my hall recently, so he will be going into the garden when the weather improves. She says he looks as if he’s parachuting into the garden..

Hallo nanjo. I love the pound shops as well.....get some good bargains at times....although I must say with plants I´m a bit wary...I have had some " no goers",...for cheap plants I look for special
offers at our local GC.....have had no problems with them.

I would love to have some lanterns but I read somewhere they can be invasive so that has put me off a little bit but you have a lovely selection there...enjoy.

Hello Nanjo, welcome to Goy, I agree with your daughter mr clown does look like that, looks to me as though you have set up a very spiky landing though, I have ornaments outside dotted about that I can't get rid of, they blend in somehow, mind you I also have ones indoors that were bought for the garden and sit indoors in front of the patio window instead, lol.
Nice selection you have there, I hope they are successful for you, I like the disguise around the blocks but wonder why we do such things to our poor hands, often not realising until it comes to washing them..
Monsoon weather here again, quick run to the greenhouse is all the gardening to be done today..
