Wanted to share this colourful end of journey with you in the following photos. We spent a few days at Ludlow and Worcester which are both not too far from us.Love this area very much.Sadly the weather wasn’t good enough to take photos until we were nearly at the end of our break.Coming back through Tintern the skies cleared.Had to take advantage of this.

I do love your part of the UK Julia. We visited Ludlow when we were in Shropshire in 2007, that dire wet summer. Its a great place with a lovely market. But I've never seen the Wye valley. One day I will visit. I'm determined to see more of the UK, particularly the south of England.

You will have so many invitations to visit, Karen, that you'll need at least a month :))

Very many thanks for this Meadowland. I have been trying to remember for a long time (since 1969!)where a particular bookshop is (or was)- I remember it because there was a gorgeous pink blossom tree on the other side of the road which I think might have been a Judas Tree, and oh joy, the first picture was just the spot. A lovely spot and some great photos.

A visit here is an absolute must for next Spring . . . scenery and a bookshop is an irresistible combination! To think we used to live just up the river (in Rodley) when the boys were little, and never visited. Too busy climbing around Symonds Yat and having coffee in Ross-on-Wye probably :)

Many thanks again Julia.

We were in Malvern at the weekend, but the weather was not really suitable for taking photographs of the wonderful Malvern Hills......
Ludlow is one of our old haunts, we were there last October with our family, we were very lucky with the weather, some beautiful scenery in Worcestershire, you captured some magical shots there, well done...
