Snow on the greenhouses

I have been brushing the snow off the glass on the roof of my greenhouses today, i would hate the weight of the snow to break the glass.
One of the greenhouses has now been closed down, i’ve managed to get everything out of that greenhouse into the main greenhouse. That should save on some electricity!
I shall continue to take plants out of their pots. Hopefully once they are all out of their pots i should get everything into the one greenhouse to save on heating.
Once all are out of their pots i will start at the begining again, next time with the soft brush to brush the rest of the compost off the tubers. I shall have to get a move on if i’m going to have some timed for the first shows – it will soon be time to start them off again.

Yes, its a worrying time. I had a look at mine this morning and decided I would have to take the brush to the greenhouse and put a parafin heater into the polytunnel

It's so difficult, isn't it - both greenhouses are F.T.B, the coldframe as well, and the 'wall house' too - but the plants in there are not as important. I have heaters in the greenhouses, so our electricity bill will be sky-high!

I still have a cold greenhouse. Yesterday I bought all the succulants into the utility room. Some looked as though it had got too cold this year for them. But I will wait and see whos pulled through.

Begonias, though I tried them forthe first time last year. This will be my second year with the same tubers, so hopefully I have stored them correctly.

Keeping fingers crossed my little plants will be OK in my greenhouse although not heated it does have bubble wrap on inside of greenhouse then every thing as fleece on them plus newspaper, and when the sun shines its on the greenhouse all morning and untill about 1-30, 2pm.
