Pond treatment

My pond is relatively new but the water turned bright green. I sought advice and was advised to try Tetra pond
Algorem Green Water treatment. You mix the correct dosage. in a watering can mixed with pond water, and then sprinkle the solution over the surface of the pond.
The photo shows how it brings the green to the surface so you can skim it off .You can re apply after three days if you need to.
My pond is nearly clear now.

I'm still stocking the pond and have a water lily waiting to go in along with some more plants. I can now see my fish!

Yes! Gnarly gnome is right! Mine are coming back! A few days ago they were at the bottom of the pond, now their ready to break the surface :)

My water lily is now in the pond I had a senior moment I forgot I did it this afternoon. The sun must have got to me!!
The water is not green now the treatment was successful.
I will put some photos on in about 1 week to show you how it is getting on.

products can be expensive its very disappointing lf they don't work.

I hope all the water doesnt fall out
A water lily would help stop the algae blocks the sunlight out , but all new ponds go through that , barley straw stuffed in a stocking helps as well just leave in the water.
