Malvern yet again

Well it would not be the month of May without a trip to the Malvern Spring Show – we love it so off we went on last Friday night for a sleep over at the Premier Inn at Worcester – so that we could have an early start on the Saturday . the weather was brilliant – no rain or muddy boots bringing on that bedraggled unfashionable look!!

Camera at the ready I took quite a few pics and also bought a few plants and brought back lots of new ideas on garden planning and new plants to try – as always a brilliant day – here are a few of my best pics !!

I bought one of these – I loved the colour and the formation of the flower

A favourite of mine

So beautiful

We called by Worcester on the way back on Sunday – just look at the swans – so many

These are my new bits from the show – I shall have fun planting these !!

Stickitoffee - where have you planted the anemone - or are you keeping it in a trough? Thanks Steragram - yes I love the colour of that Lewisia - Hywel I could not resist those plants - the trolley was full to bursting !!! OH bought lots as well !!

Yes Hywel we both like different things OH - is for his allotment and his hanging baskets - begonias and fuschias

at the moment i have put it in at the edge of a woodland flower bed ~ its on a slope and i have put this next to the steps so i can see it easily.

Thanks Stickitoffee - I shall look for a similar spot and see how that goes - I think I may put it in the shade by the pool in a spot that is dog proof!!

i only put it there so i could see it well, all my garden is shady and more than half the planting area is on a slope. i wouldnt know if i have put it in the right place.

Our garden is quite clayey if that is a word - so I will give it some mulch - hoping to get out in the garden this next week - we have been to a wedding today and I worked yesterday so time has been a bit limited
