WOW! ~ WHAT A BARGAIN AT B&Q....................

Great stuff! I am starting to find better bargains in supermarkets and D.I.Y stores than actual garden centres - our Focus also has loads of nice bargains. B&Q is usually good for offers - we had our Banboo from there and a lot of the grasses too! Plus our turf was B&Q

I find Morrison's very good ,they are just starting to get their perennials in ,I got two bare rooted hardy geraniums for £2( splish splash variety) and 15 anemone bulbs for£1, also yesterday they had packet's of 3/5 daffs for 30p.We just need the weather now so we can get back out in the garden. Your bargain primroses are lovely.

I agree with you all - Morrison's and The Range (if you have one - it's newish to us) have some great deals if you don't mind not having rarities. Lidl is worth checking too - we keep an eye on their website and go when they have interesting plants in. I got several patio roses there last spring, 2 for £3. They flowered all summer and are putting on new growth now, ready for me to give them a light trim in a month or so.

didnt you do well! they look so healthy too! i need some paint and wasnt going to travel so far as b and q but i think i will now, and hope that similar things jump into my basket
i was wanting some of those splish splash geraniums so thanks mavis - i shall also call in at morrisons! oh and looks like i had better call in at lidl while im out - i could be out for a while!!!

Excellent value - I got some from Morrison's yesterday, but they cost £3.20 for 6. I wishe I'd popped into B&Q now - they're next door to Morrison's! :-((

been to our village this afternoon, the florist is asking £1.35 each.

They are lovely, we dont have B&Q but do have both the supermarkets, Homebase and Focus, I absolutely love to see a display of Primroses so seeing yours is tempting me....

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments. Sorry its taken so long, have been busy aswell as we have just put a new shower in, and landed up creating more work than first thought, so haven't been on here quite as much lately.
