Last day of winter.

Yes its spring tomorrow but in the garden its already here, it`s been a beautiful day, really sunny and a lot warmer. I spent an hour in the green house pricking out more seedlings.

Asters sorted,

As you can see the I`m fast running out of space in the top house, so have started moving some to my bottom greenhouse..
The white buckets on the floor have carrots and spring onions in them..

Hollyhocks I`d already pricked out, they are quite strong so will be ok.

Love Lies Bleeding, never had these before, they look fiddly..

Aquilegia, going to daughter, I`ve already planted mine out in the garden…

Sweetpeas, some doing better than others ..

I have Marigolds, Petunias, Cosmos, Zinnia,Ageratum, Black Poppies, Dahlias, Antirrhinums, Lobelia besides Toms and Cucumbers so will be ok as regards things to do in the next few weeks..

It was a wee bit hot working in there so I decided to have some time in the garden itself, I emptied my Tardis Bin and moved it next to my full round one, thats my cubby hole, hidden away from view, the rubbish is waiting to go in the trailer, which at the moment is out on loan, good job it cannot be seen.

My new shrubs are planted.

We had rain all yesterday until the evening so they are looking very happy…

The Leptospermum I have popped into a bigger pot and think it looks good on the patio…

Little bird was a gift on Mothering Sunday.

It sings as well as lighting up..
Below is another gift.

Cast Iron and heavy so thought better not put it in a tree…

Hubby was late home so I was outside until about 3ish, wonder if I can get away with that again tomorrow….

Gosh Sue, You've got lots of different seeds coming along. They'll give you a colourful show later on :o) I haven't got room for a greenhouse unfortunately, and it's nice to hear you've got two of them.
Your shrubs look nice and healthy, and I do like your gifts, especially that iron thing ... which reminds me I've got an iron thing to go on the wall aswell. Had it about 3 years now lol. I hope I'll get round to fixing it this spring.
Isn't it nice that spring is officially here at last :o)
