Thank you Bertiefox. Very comprehensive answer. I think my foliage grew too tall and snapped when I moved the bags around to water them.. The plants in the soil are also very tall . The strawberries are delicious this year as I have managed to get them before the slugs. I lift the tresses onto twigs to keep them off the ground and with this sun they ripen very quickly.
