My garden Calls me

I have recently returned from hospital where I spent 11 days after having a total knee replacement. On getting home my first request was a nice cup of tea, I then persuaded my husband to help me into the garden just so I could take a look as I missed it so much! Two weeks have passed and I now manage to walk around the garden on my crutches pulling a few weeds out a long the way. My recovery is slow as I have had a few set backs, but as my knee gets stronger I know I will be able to do my gardening next year without pain! I love my garden!!

My sympathies on your knee! I broke mine last May, and I am just recently become functional enough to kneel down and do some serious work in my garden. Take care of yourself, and take heart--I used to work in a hospital, and even then ('75-'85) knee replacememnts almost always came back to complete mobility, often far quicker than my knee has!

It's horrible to be in pain isn't it. It gets you down. I'm glad you've had helpful treatment, and hope you'll be able to enjoy your garden now. I'm sorry to hear about the setbacks and hope you've got over them.
