Now for the photos from the Flower Marquee where I spent a great deal of time. :o)

I just loved this floral funfare, so original.

Don`t you just love the bed? It was made of all sorts of salad vegetables but it looked really comfortable all the same…lol!

There was a display of Bonsai trees there and all of them, including the one above, dated from 1960..the year my almost fifty year old brother was born….just thought I`d mention it…lol!

There I am wandering about pulling my yet unfilled trolley behind me, but fear not it didn`t remain empty for long…lol!

The last rather poor photo was my collection of goodies that I brought home. I`ll explain all about them in a moment.

It was a very long and tiring day but such a lovely day out. As I overheard one lady say to her friend, " just imagine its a leisurely five mile stroll!" I won`t tell you what her friend said in return though…lol!
I saw Alys Fowler from Gardeners World but she was off-duty and buying something from a stall. I was surprised at how small she seemed, I`m 5`4" and she looked smaller than me. I thought she would have been taller, it must be what TV does for you. There were so many stalls and so many displays that Jim gave up taking photos in the end but I chose some of my favourites and I hope that you like them.

Now for my own purchases:

Heuchera `Blackberry Jam`
Heucherella `Sweet Tea`
Heucherella `Dayglow Pink`

I bought them all from a company called Heucheraholics, they had such a good collection and it was difficult to choose. I`ve since saved the website to my favourite garden shops for future reference.

I also bought,
Dianthus `Deltoides`
Astrantia `Ruby Star` a new variety
Cirsium rivulare `Atropurpureum`
and erm….Lychnis something or other…I`ve lost the label temporarily.

AND……..10 spiral supports for £10
and 3 circular supports for £5 and 2 hooped supports for £4…not bad for one days shopping.

Anyway after all my rambling I`ll say goodbye for now. :o)

Hard to get out of the marquee once you're in ! I love those dark Delphiniums at the back. Your spiral supports were a bargain, much dearer than that down here, now you need climbers to cover them ! : o ))
