hi
i fell on this site when i googles a query on compost and i must say it looks brilliant. i have been gardening many years but not always with complete success, i seem to have lost as many plants as i have succeeded. we have moved our greenhouse about 2 foot forward today to enable us to use the space at the back to grow more strawberries for our grandaughters who get a huge buzz out of picking and eating things that grow, (they are 4 and 2) we are also starting again with one of our borders that has never really grown well and we are digging out the old soil which is full or coke and cinders and replacing with new topsoil so any tips will be welcome for new plants.

thanks for your lovely comments this seems to be a very friendly and helpful site, the pictures are quite deceiving, the lawn is quite bumpy and grows quicker in one area than the other although i think the weed free bit is just down to luck! we have ordered some of the plug plants from jersey 100 +60 free for a tenner, has anyone else tried them, oops gotta go now time for work.

my old broken garden seat will really look out of place in your garden. outside my backdoor i have an old radiator, you can have that as well. welcome hugs from a newish goy fan.

hi davewebber, it really isn't that smart, round the corner of the garage is washing lines, wheelbarrow, kids toys, at the top are the bins, brooms,buckets etc..i have just been clever with the camera!

Lol, I have 3 areas like that ,water butts and hose pipes just off yard in dog area,compost bins and garden wheelie bin hidden behind conifers near bottom pond and garden roller and woodpile behind top pond, its called discreet hiding of things one has to have.....
