Hubby went off to the local do it yourself store to get a new utility knife for work. While he was away I started the charcoal to grill the chicken for supper.
Hubby returns telling of the nightmare since they moved everything around in the store.
Talking on the phone to my son I walk out to the grill…turn the chicken and coat it with BBQ sauce. Walk back into the house and say my goodbys to my son. Then Hubby calls me and states he can’t believe it. I replied “What??!!” He stated I stood right beside it!
Looking out his window I see what he was talking about. LOL are you ready??
Yep… the Calla Lily (zantedeschia x ‘gold rush’) was right beside the plate holding my utensils and sauce. And NOPE I did not see it while I was saucing the chicken…Time for the eyes to be checked.
A very pleasant end to a crazy day.

Yes I often look for things and hours or days later I find them right under my nose. I'm sure they become invisible and then switch themselves back on again.
