Robins Nest

Your photos of the robins' nest are really lovely.
You did well to take such super pictures through the window.

Last year I was lucky enough to have thrushes nesting in my back garden. Didn't get photos, but wonderful that they successfully reared two babies :o)

Was this the first time you'd had robins nesting ? I don't usually see thrushes in my garden, but these two obviously decided it was the right place to nest. The nest was very near to the Garry Elliptica James Roof which is in my latest photo. I hope your robins come back and also my thrushes.

Hello Kris, thanks for sharing your lovely photos of the robin chicks, its been a privilege to see pics of eggs through to the babies hatching. Your robins are unlike the UK robin but very beautiful all the same.

I enjoyed the series. I wish I'd had a nest to watch in my garden - there was a wood pigeon nesting on top of the grape vine, but it was far above my head, so no views of any baby pigeons.

The Robins did not return in 2008...Could it be they didn't like the nosey neighbor even though she brought them a meal of night crawlers? truth is it was a bribe to get feeding photos :)

maybe theyll come back this year?
