After reading Hywels blog about fiddly things , I sat in the garden and looked at the lawn as Oh sees it he loves the dandelions and Daisy’s and always says don’t mow it yet they are lovely so I sat and read my book ,as we all know things will come and go in the garden whether we fussy over them or not ,later I took some photos so you can see what I mean my mish mash is doing its own thing the plants in the front garden as coming up as usual , my pots on the gravel are doing the same I have not even weeded my hosta,s but they are on their way so there is no need to worry everything will take it,s course and I can sit and finish my book :o)

Your begonias reminded me, last Nov. I had some that still looked very healthy, so I put them into small cells, kept them in my Grow house within the garage, and they are now ready to out into pots again, really surprised me.

Your plants are coming along really good, and I like your lawn. I think a plain green square can be rather boring.
I listened to a garden prog on the wireless a few weeks ago, and someone asked what should they do with their lawn, because the grass never grew nicely. One of the panellists answered saying to put wild flowers mixed in with the grass to give it a bit of interest, and to fill the spaces where the grass wasn't growing very good ... and they provide insects with food as well :o)
You've got a beautiful view :o)

I agree you have a lovely view and I'm sure the insects in your garden love the unmown lawn with the flowers in it!:)
