Sorry folks no good news not yet anyway. As previously blogged a pair of mallards had chosen my garden pond as their home to rear their young. Daisy was seen going under the deck and Donald disappeared (typical man). Then I found an egg in the bottom of the pond and Daisy had disappeared, well we never saw her for days and the due date for the eggs passed.
So on returning home one evening from work my son said theres a duck on he pond, I rushed outside all excited hoping to see Daisy and ducklings but no I found this
I should be over the moon the fact my son had bought me a present, well it amused the family.
Anyway this morning I got another surprise, the cats woke me up a 5.30am (silly me I left the bedroom door open) and the only way to get rid of them is to feed them, as the kitchen overlooks the pond, I saw Daisy and Donald swimming around so perhaps its take 2. OH was not happy when I woke him to tell him lol.
Daisy might not lay and TC just might have something to do with it.

Lovely photo`s, it`ll be nice if you do get some ducklings. Thats a very nice gift, even though I think he was having a laugh at your expense, very handsome cat...
