Captured this wily fox in a sleepy state recently. Having a siesta for a short time in next doors back garden. Happy snoozing on the weeds!!!

That's a sly fox if I ever saw one - a sleepy sly fox. Look how he sleeps with his ears perked up. He's a handsome fella.

Thanks kindly, Julia! He stayed for around an hour. However, when my neighbours arrived home he decided to take his leave and disappeared up the bund hill 😊

Thanks Paul! He sure was a gorgeous colour! He didn’t seem to fussed that I was watching him from one of our upstairs windows with Eve in tow! Think he posed for the pics at times! ☺️

I have clicked on " like" Kate as the fox round here is always digging up my garden!! I would like it if it would go somewhere else! lol

Thanks Rose, I do understand where you’re coming from- lovely to look at but they can do some damage! I’m lucky - fingers crossed - he only pops into our garden to drink from the pond.

Lovely photos, nice to see a fox looking so healthy. Sometimes they get mites & scratch themselves raw, which is very sad to see. We have foxes around here but so far no damage, they just leave their ' messages' behind'.

Have to agree, fortunately no damage to the lawn here either…

Oh I missed this Kate, he may be sly but he's not shy is he? So good to see him, I hope he's healthy and not tired all the time. Maybe its a vixen and she's having time out from the children..:))

Thanks Janey and Sandra! I’m pleased you both like the blog and pics! It may be a vixen, Janey - having a snooze away from the young ones for a spell!
