It´s really a winter time.

This was the view from the window last weekend. Some of you thought, it was just “powder”.

But winter progresses. These are the days, when darkness reigns the light.

This column to the East I use as snow barometer. As you can see, last night we had 40 cm of a new snow.

Brrrrr! The snow here is yet to come to our village .... but the surrounding peaks have been white for weeks.

lol like everywhere else, it looks nice from a distance, but actually living there, and being stuck because of teh depth of snow, is usually a very different story!

Bonnie on a Christmas card or to look out window to see.

But not if you have to drive or try to walk on it.

Keep cosy Katarina.

Oh I know very well, Amy! Each day I travel 2 hours to work and 2 hours from work. Only 14 kilometres. Normally that is the time by which I get to the town which is 200 kilometres far.

Well, I am prepared for the end of the world. I will switch several big candles on my balcony and in the window, switch off all big lights and keep just my lamp switched on, open my favourite book, tune good music, like Norah Jones for instance, sip whisky or boiled red wine with fruits and rum (more possible) and lay into the bed.:))) It can snow then.

I always watch my DVD of 'Tinker tailor soilder spy' when its deep winter, but thats for after xmas : )

For us that looks very nice (from a distance)! Here we are sweating now (summer)! Stay safe. 2 hours for 14km! WOW!

Hm, I think J. le Carré´s biography would be more interesting then his spy sci-fi. For evevning in the winter I have better suggestions - The Name of the Rose from U. Eco (book is overwhelming the film), my favourite Tom Egeland (End of the Circle), The Art of Power from T. Jefferson or biography of W. Churchill (The Lion). Churchill was always my hero :)))

Little thing@you cannot imagine how much I would like to be on a shore with warm sea at the feet and sun above head. I am summer sign - Leo and my bones had enough of winters.
