At the end of the day....

This evening I went to the garden, to make a thick mulch around my Cornus kousa. At the highest time.
This year the crop of apricots is huuge. It is warm and sunny, that is what apricot trees like. I picked several baskets last week and this evening another two baskets of apricots, just from the low branches. I invited also Gypsy worker from the neighbourhood site (the one who helped to me last week), to pick apricots for his family, too. He was very nice and thanked a lot.

And cut my lavender, too….

And who would say, that it will start to rain afterwards?

And it rains and rains and rains….
Thank you, Lord, for this day.

They are :)) As I am leaving tommorrow for a longer business trip, I brought them to mother to process them. She wasn´s so happy as me, lol.

Well, if it wasn´t so far, SC, I would invite you to pick some in my garden. I usually do it, as I have three big trees and they give apricots for several families :))

Hi Sticki, we usually make apricot compote. We traditionally make 30 glasses. :)) Then mother starts to strike. Last week she made from the apricots I picked a marmelade and apricot pies with white bean soup. It was wonderful :)))
