The ones in flower at GCs are very expensive, Jac - but if someone wanted to give you a special pressy then now is the time to look so you know what the flowers will be like!

They're all budding up nicely, so it won't be long, Jac. The one I planted 4 years ago that hasn't ever flowered has some buds coming! YAY!!! That's because I gave it a severe talking-to last year, so it knew it was on a final warning. LOL. I've also got three I grew from babies - all with buds, and they're supposed to be doubles - I can't wait!

16 Feb, 2010

O Wow! im so plezd to hear its got Buds this Yr Spritz :) & 3 New Double Babies to how brill :) Be sure to post pics wont u? :)

16 Feb, 2010

Oh yes - sure will! I'm really pleased, as you can guess. I'm hoping that ome of the 'babies' might be a white double. :-))))

I hadn't realised how lovely they are until today at the RHS plant and design show. The best price there seemed to be 2 for £10, but as I've never looked at prices before I don't know if that's good or not. Will certainly get some soon though. Lovely pics Jacque.

Hi Ginella £5 each sounds ok!! Iv seen some in GC 4 £6.99!!! i look forward to seeing which 1s u get :)

16 Feb, 2010

Yes, I meant to say before...mine that looks the same as this isn't red, it is dark pink as suggested by Seaburn girl! ...nicer I think than the dark red ones which are beautiful but hard to see

16 Feb, 2010

will look great jacque and after looking at members hellebore realised they can grow quite big to, so will have to make sure i plant in right place :o))

16 Feb, 2010

Ginellie - excellent price! If you get a large plant in flower from a GC, you could pay about £12.99 or more. The rarer named ones are even more than that - I've come across a yellow one for £25. WOW prices!
