My Pond Today

looks really good jacque, once those plants have etablished will be even better ;o)) i so want a pond

im hoping in my new project jacque when i start it , weather not fit at the moment, i have a pond liner which i got last year so im part way there lol

Thanx Rka iv already got some pretty young Fishys that r liveing in a Cold Water Aquaruim @present in my liveing room :) Im glad u agree with me TT it took me 3hrs to get it looking good again !!! :)

That was an awful accident, but now as you say you are looking forward to Spring. That will be great. You have tidied it up well, and I'm sure it will be really lovely next summer and fully thriving again.

i just read something that could help jacque if you havent done already, to stand your fountain/pump on something like a milk crate so if it falls the water doesnt escape the pond just flows through holes in crate, doesnt have to be that big but just not solid if you know what i mean :o)

It was a Awful thing 2 happen Mad & like San says/suggest always weigh down the Pump so it dont fall over ,I learnt a very hard way but i have now got the Pump wired to a Flat Weight 2 keep i up-right :D

easy done jacque and i wouldnt have thought about it falling, im just having a wildlife pond, no fishys, so no pump needed, im getting lots of ideas in my head now and looking forward to making it ;o)

I know ul love it San id had Pond Fish 4 over 13yrs & think their brill 2 watch :) Wildlife Ponds r great 2 San u can get water snails 2 live in it & ul also get Frogs which is sum thing i didnt see in mine :(

yes thats what i want jacque to help froggys, apparently if you have fish you dont get as many frogs cause the fish eat the frogspawn, so just frogs for me

i am so glad you have had the heart to redo the pond. they really do add to the magic of the garden. looks lovely too.

Its a shame it happened, but the re-vamp looks good and you have your plans to restock to look forward to. I miss having a pond; its lovely to sit in the sun and watch the fish playing in the water!....and in the spring when the spawn has turned into froglets...and they are all leaping round the garden...you have to watch where you put your feet...lol....ooooh...got me going now!!! perhaps when I get my lottie I could have a pond there.....mmmmmm.....thats got me thinking now.:)))

Absolutely no room Sandra....but I do have a small water feature beside the bird bath....so I do have the sound of water nearby.....

i have a barrel water feature i made but defo going to make a small wildlife pond next springtime, its so relaxing with water isnt it :o))

Itl be great San watching the Spawn gron into Frogs :) The Pond is netted Aster to stop Hoggys falling in & it will be april/may when i put the Tank fifhys into the Pond or maybe l8r if waters not warmed up enough:)Thanx SeaB/Amy/Amblea it took me sum time to brave the job but i got there :) I love Water Features to u can buy/make some great 1s now :) The Little Ducks iv had 4 a while GFriend they ned a god painting really so does Mr Frog :) Thanx Holly :) It was heart breaking PP & im so looking forward to Spring/Summer 2010 now :)

Well, it's been raining all night and most of the morning.......BUT out my window now I can see a big patch of blue sky - YAY! :-)

Sounds Very Promiseing Sarah :) The Sky here is turning Grey/Black so i think itl be raining here again soon:/
