Full circle, Jacque - lovely flowers! Will you be doing same again? Have you tried eating some seeds, yourself? I love the oily smell that comes from them when drying out in the oven. :-))

Mmmmmm Yes David my Son cooked some 4 me a little while ago & i do enjoy them very much :) I will be Growing more 4 next Summer David as i really loved the Colours & the Flowering length they gave :)

So pretty ..! I am a sunflower lover..from way back!..these are so nice..you have done such nice work with them...and you have taken simply brilliant photo's...I also love the smell of pumpkin seeds baking in the oven and they are very nutricious to eat as well..

Thanx Catf /Sandra :) I tried a new tactic with them this year? When the Tall 1 was about 3ft I cut its top off so it would give me more Flowers! I loved how it looked so im going to do same next Summer :)

Great blog, Jacque, with some lovely photos. That little hamster is gorgeous too. I have kept lots of seeds from my sunflowers for next year but the ones I left for the birds have already been eaten :)

Its sad when we lose even the Smallest of pets:/ My Garden has so many now & iv only been liveing here 4yrs!!!

yes agree but the most annoying thing is not many take losing small pets as serious even though it really is. My neighbour was on about his cat dying breaking his heart which was sad and I agreed I told him hamster dying was very upsetting asnd he burst out laughing - grrrrrrrrrrr
