It’s been a dry day so I’ve been tidying one of my Perspex shelters. I put all my Auriculas and Alpines in there.
There were already other things in there too, and it looks tidier now …

In another shelter, these Pachyphytums are flowering even in the middle of winter :)

I’ve got some Cyclamen that are flowering in there also :-

Plenty of other plants overwinter in there too :-

Here’s a view down the garden :-

You can see things about the place – I was in the middle of moving things around and putting them in more appropriate places.

Here are some Hellebores …

St Francis watches over my garden.
I was going to move him into shelter for the wnter but couldn’t get around to it.

In my new flower bed I planted some Snowdrops I got in a local market last week, and a Dicentra and Liatris …

… and a new yellow rose I got in a 99p shop …
and I pushed some creepers in between the bricks, to fill out in the summer :)

Bella enjoyed herself in the garden …

And on the shed roof …

And on the road …

And on top of a fence …

I hope you are all enjoying the (slowly) lengthening days :o)

You seem to be quite organised Hywel ! Such a lot of plants ! You have quite a collection there !
Bella has definitely settled in well now, hasn't she !

What a useful area your shelter is, Hywel, and looks very organised. Bella, as usual, is looking lovely and very lively, here, there and everywhere :)

You've got a grand selection of flowers there Hywel. I do like that little standard lonicera in the garden - how long did it take to train it like that? It was funny to see that St Francis has water in his basket - he can give the birds a drink, which should please him!

Bella looks magnificent on the shed roof in her long winter bib. Ro has one too and it is too long for her to be able to lick to the end of it and it gets caught in her mouth sometimes. I think she will be glad when it moults in the spring!

That looks like a very successful day to me!
What is it about cyclamen - whenever I see them I just smile and think how very pretty they are.
Lovely to see Bella 'exploring!'

lovely blog as usual Hywel. well you've named one of my succulents for me thanks.
that white cyclamen with the magenta stripe reminds me of my mum's all white one. there was always 1 flower with a stripe the rest pure white.

Thank you all for your comments :)

Steragram, The standard tree was once a bush. I just cut the lower branches off to expose the stem.

Seaburngirl, the full name of the succulent is Pachyphytum clavifolia.

Thank you Sandra. I had lots of Dicentras but they seem to have disappeared. I hope to get more soon :)

The lighter days are coming, yay!!! its grand to keep the blinds and curtains open longer, I had a few mins checking and sorting mine in the g'house today Hywel, they didn't really need any attention but it does me good, anyway I like to go have a chat with them, lol, I have some flowering as well and one of my little alpines has come out this week, I didn't get my auricullas out of the garden but think they are ok .
.Your Hellebores are lovely, only two of mine are out, both creamy ones, no signs of the dark ones budding up but plenty of time yet, its nice to see Bella is still keeping an eye on things for you, my company is always Toffee, I think the others are too lazy, even Brynner doesn't stay out with me....
