Autumn jobs

At last managed to sort out the greenhouse for the winter.Gave it a thorough de-clutter,clean and tidy up.Amazing how smug I feel now!The wallflowers,Sweet William and foxgloves have been planted, dahlias dug and up and stored.Pots emptied, bulbs planted, patio cleaned and leaves collected.Still some digging to do,but mainly we are feeling progress has been made-for a change!
We think our resident hedgehog is still around at night because the mealworms have been gone every morning and there are trails in the dew-covered lawn most mornings.
Love this time of year.

Well done you! I feel quite tired reading about all your hard work. Wish I could say the same....

Well that has worn me out as well and I am only reading about all the jobs done. Getting the greenhouse sorted is always a job I like, trouble is it soon filled up again but gives me something to care for when one cannot be in the actual garden, well done you....I never see any hedgehogs now but think they do visit in parts of the garden as they leave a well worn track amongst the shrubs, same route all the time..
