Sorry but unless it has changed considerably presenters too, I'll not be watching. I'd rather watch Blue Peter.

I agree with Heron that the format has to change, its certainly nowhere near as good as it was. :o(

I thought Alan was coming back to do some programmes?~

I don't think I gained any gardening knowledge from watching it since Monty Don stopped presenting, Toby Buckland and Alys Whatsername just come across as superior beings to my mind ! There, I've put my opinion on for what it's worth . . . :o)

I think we ought to work out what we want to see. I do watch it - and then wish I hadnt on a regular basis which is a little silly. I would like to see more on what happens to the same plants over time and the ecosystems that build up around them.

I will give it a go but admit I`m going to sky plus it, that way I can get rid if it`s still no good........

Come back Alan or Monty Don, light up our Friday evenings once more.

I agree with all the comments..it is going to have to attract interest from the first show,or I will not be watching it again,..lets hope its a better format this time, and
we can look forward to Friday viewing again........I would love to see repeats of the Geoff Hamilton series,as we get enough repeats of a lot of other rubbish, but nothing for the Gardeners....

I do agree with Bloomer, we see so many other repeats that surely repeating the Geoff Hamilton programmes would be popular, but more than that so useful.
Geoff used to give some really down-to-earth (ha-ha) tips and was very practical. I found Monty good too - but Alan Titchmarsh oh no. Leave him to his chat shows and 'Iffy' books.
Maybe they might improve the format of the present one, but I do find the presenters uninspiring.

Must admit i watch it, keep waiting for it to get betterand if it does dont wont to miss it,if you know what i mean..

I don't think it's the fault of the presenters so much as the producers who want to 'dumb down' to appeal to 'beginners' which is a polite way of saying people who like 'reality' shows but not serious about gardening. I hear that they've asked good people like Chris Beardshaw but can you blame them for turning the offer down.

Alan Titchmarsh has now signed up to be the new face of B&Q.
He will be back on BBC this Autumn in Alan"s Garden Secrets. And will
be expected to lead BBC Television cov erage of the RHS Chelsea Flower
Show in May.............i read this in AG "Good for Alan.

I enjoy Gardeners World i thought Alan did well, but i think people have to
move on and try other things, we get so used to one person heading this
TV Programme. I also admired Monty Don after Alan, but it took me some
time to adjust, after a while he like Alan became part of the Programme.
Anyhow, i think BBC are realising we need more Gardening Programmes
here"s hoping others will follow suit, sit up and take notice of us the
Gardening Addicts.

I am a fan of Chris Beardshaw too,Heron. Its seems a long time since he was
on,and I liked his style of presenting very much...
