Making child friendly areas attempted!!!

re-shaped lawn done
Paths made and gravel down done

Am so proud of myself so far its taken me 4 weeks to do the above and I’ve done it all by myself yipeee barring my hubbing digging out the confier roots etc

Now the fun begins where do I start!!! Help not a clue as to what will grow or what to buy – photos will follow tomorrow – anyone who has any advice and ideas once they see the garden as is at present would be greatly appreciated.

Well done - and welcome to GOY, havewelliescanlearn. I don't think I'll be calling you that, though - it takes too long to type! lol.

Yes, photos would be good - we'll be able to take a look and see if we can make any suggestions. In the meantime, have a browse through other members' gardens - and see if you get any inspiration.

Welcome to goy.
Your enthusiasm knows no bounds, I feel drained just reading about all you`ve accomplished in just 4 weeks.
As Spritz suggests you can get a lot of inspiration looking through other members photo`s.
Good luck with your project.

Welcome to GoY.
Another way to get ideas is to visit a few open gardens in the Yellow Book scheme welllies. There are even some of our GoY members that have their gardens open for the yellow book.
