Lovely photo's, very good selection of planting Gf,I haven't seen any Swallows yet but there were a few Swifts flying overhead last week, sadly only saw them on one day, guess they didn't find it warm enough to linger...

3d the sign says "To Plant a Garden is to Believe in Tomorrow" very apt, that's what we all do isn't it...

Lincslass, thinking about it, it could have been swifts that I saw as they were very very high in the sky & it was the boomerang wing shape that was most apparent & the flash of white underneath when they turned. They were extremely fast & agile over the fields - I didn't notice the forked tail tho.

3d, I'd be hard pressed to choose between Proteus or Piluu but they both last longer than any of the Iris.

It is Lincslass thank you I could nt read it all as I am on a phone small screen and when I enlarge the pucture it blurrs.

3d, it's a particularly poignant saying for me by Audrey Hepburn. My daughter had the plaque made for my birthday, it was also a way of telling her (& reminding myself) that I would stay positive despite my illness.

What a wonderful thought from your daughter sorry to hear you ve been ill .

Hepburn was lively she had appendix cancer if I recall right an old nurse once told me always eat some thing with seeds organic tomatoes or organic Lemon with a tiny bit od baking powder drink and violet leaves mangos also good for the lungs mangos are great cures for cancer. I ve had cancer and my sisters.

No harm in trying if alternative medicine is good enough for prince Charles which I recently heard he wrote to PMs to go with his great belief its good enough for us. Wishing you good health.
