We went to Barnsdale and loved it, even the children, and have come away with loads of ideas and thinking I should get back into watching Gardeners World, having given up when Titchmarsh finished. I quite enjoyed tonights episode and am looking forward to returing to my expanse of grass and getting some Barnsdale ideas onto paper and then into the garden. Am total amature but think I might start on a herb garden. Any guidance gratefully appreciated.

Pleased you enjoyed Barnsdale Gilly,I was there a couple of weeks ago and hoping to go again soon,its lovely to wander around and yes one comes away with lots of ideas.

OOps I dont think I have quite got the hang of this blogging as opened a new one! I had thanked you all for the warm welcome and said we visted Art De Jardin in Wing today with lots of scuptures in a wonderful garden. I have also deided I need a focal point in this blank garden of mine and not in the shape of the present trampoline, perhaps its good for climbers?
