Oh that's helpful, thank you SG

What a whopper! Surely that's bigger than these normally are? Mind you, I suppose that's what the name suggests.

I honestly can't answer that. It is certainly smaller than my red one. According to MacPlants catalogue it will grow to 30cms so that is tall. Crocus has a diagram showing it at 40cms high so I would think because it is in a small pot at he moment it wll probably get bigger next year when it is in the garden.

I planted my very first one this year and just when it was ready to flower, the last heavy snow broke the only bud off. But, I noticed today that there are three new set of leaves coming up, so maybe........just maybe......
My one is also a white one with the glorious name of T.Camschatcense Nemuro, but it is much smaller than your one.

Fingers crossed for you Oji!

This is lovely one!

An intruder probably a pheasant cut off the flower from my new Helleborus lividus Purple Rose. I'd waited patiently for it to flower and I was devastated when I found the bud lying dead. The leaves are still looking good so I hope your three new leaves signal more flowers if not this year, then next spring Oji. At least you know it is spreading it must like where it is growing.

Yes, SG, that was my thinking, too. It's looking happy enough, despite the loss.
